Day of Service

YOUNG ADULT DAY OF SERVICE - SATURDAY, APRIL 15, 2023

In partnership, the Catholic Charities Appeal, the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, and the Office for Ministry with Young Adults held a Day of Service on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Volunteers had a meaningful and memorable day spending time with the residents of Don Guanella and Divine Providence Village. The day started with a beautiful reflection in the Chapel, followed by fun games and activities with the men from Don Guanella. After watching an impactful video about DGDP, volunteers took part in an amazing dance party with the ladies of Divine Providence! The volunteer’s presence and support made a significant contribution to the memorable experience for everyone involved, and we are immensely grateful for their participation.

The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, a part of the Intellectual Disabilities Division of Catholic Social Services within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
